Analytical Chemist Needed with a diverse analytical experience including HPLC,AA
Our Client is looking for a analytical chemist to join their Analytical Development Lab. The position will include routine analysis of samples using HPLC, AA, Ion Chromatography, Auto Titration and a small amount of method development. The Ideal Candidate will have industrial experience from a Pharmaceutical or other regulated environment, scientific based degree and experience using the techniques mentioned.
Salary/Rate: £10 Per Hour
Location: Merseyside
Duration: Temp 3month+ contract

Senior Production Scientist (biopharma)
Our client is a leading manufacturer of biopharmaceuticals.
We have an opportunity for candidates to perform litre-scale manufacture of molecular biology and cell products to GMP standards. Working within a busy and friendly project team this is a permanent opportunity and training will be provided. Once established in your post, you will apply your expertise to train and mentor others and trouble shoot if any manufacturing problems arise. You will also be responsible for completion of batch records. There may also be opportunities to provide additional support to the process development group and liaise with external clients
Applicants must have a degree in a science subject plus working knowledge of purification techniques. Industry and academic experience will be considered
Experience of manufacture of Viral, DNA, protein or cell-based products is advantageous but not essential
You must have a can-do attitude and show flexibility
Benefits
Circa £ 15.000 – £ 20.000 (though our client may consider more for the right person) plus 25+8 BH and pension

Part Time Laboratory Analyst
Working for a major environmental analysis lab, you will be working to tight deadlines, ensuring prompt sample turnaround. You will be completing chemical analysis of water samples, completing a variety of techniques including HPLC, GCMS, diode arrays and LCMS.
The successful candidate should have a background in chemistry, either in education or industry, with a great willingness to develop skills and progress your career. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within an analytical laboratory.
The role is based on a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, working a 4 hour morning shift from 8am to midday.
Location: North West - Chesire
Salary: £ 14.000 - £ 16.000 pro rata

Materials Scientist/Design Engineer New Product Development
We are looking for a polymer scientist, materials or bioengineering specialist to work within a New Product Development Team. 50% of your time will be spent coordinating test programmes with the study team, maintaining project files, designing history files and general in-house information Management. The remainder of your 50% time will be working hands-on in the laboratory performing R&D and characterisation tests on bio-polymers/devices
Tests may include; mechanical testing and materials analysis, such as Functional tests and Vacuum mixing systems, IR and Wet Chemistry among others. You may also be involved with the redesign of cement, injection moulded plastics and other design work
Experience
-BSc/ PhD Materials Scientist/Polymers Science/Bioengineering
-You must have experience from a R&D team focused on one the following; Ideally: inhalers, injectors or medical devices
-Individuals who have worked with plastics or materials sciences or injection moulding from a relevant industry will also be considered
-You must have worked to high compliance
Personality
You must be outgoing, confident and proactive

Senior Analyst
Our client is an industry leader in textiles and has an opening for a Senior Analyst.
This is an exciting and varied role and our client provides an excellent benefits package. You will be working in a busy lab within a small, supportive team. Reporting to the section leader you will be conducting analysis such as GCMS, LCMS, UV-Vis and ICP to UKAS standards. You will also be developing methods and trouble-shooting. Excellent communication skills are required because additionally you will mentor juniors, provide consultative customer support and deputise for the manager. As this role progresses you will have the opportunity to visit clients.
Requirements
-You must have working knowledge of GCMS or LCMS with the ability to trouble-shoot and develop methods
-ICP experience would be an advantage
-You must have excellent organisational skills and flexibility to meet deadlines
-You must be a team-player
